Our Story
Coon Creek Farms has been worked by the same family for six generations. What started as a homestead in central Illinois has grown alongside the families who have tended it — adapting to new methods and equipment, but holding to the same simple idea: take care of the land, and the land takes care of you.
We farm just outside Sullivan, Illinois, in the heart of Moultrie County. The fields, the weather, and the rhythm of the seasons shape everything we do.
Owner / Operator
The farm is owned and operated by Brad Emel, who carries the work forward with the same commitment to stewardship, family, and community that the generations before him built.
